Manual Control - The burner features a manual control knob that allows the user to light the pilot as well as turn the flame up and down from the burner. This system cannot use a remote control.
Millivolt - Also allows the user to control turn the pilot light on and off as well as adjust the flame height from the burner. The millivolt control is more a more sophisticated valve system that allows the user to turn the flame on and off with a remote, thermostat, or switch
Variable Control - This system includes a remote control that allows the user to adjust the flame up and down from the remote control system. This system also has a standing pilot light.
Intermittent Pilot - This valve system gives the user complete control of the logset with the included remote. The included remote features a thermostat, up and down flame adjustment, and on/off control. The pilot light on this system only comes on when the log set is on.
