Can you use in a prefab fireplace?

This question may be better for the company the prefab fireplace came from. Whether or not the fireplace is certified to be equipped with wood burning inserts would allow for determining which is best suited for you. Why is the 3500 cheaper than the 2700 ,a bigger model, more btu?

The 2700 is a more compact heater, designed to be flush mounted into a masonry fireplace with a more decorative cast iron façade. The 3500 is absolutely a larger, workhorse of a heater. If you have any further questions please feel free to give us a call! Thanks.
