Your Rating

Q: What type of fire wood to use?

A: The best types of woods to burn are hardwoods such as birch, ash, oak, maple, etc... These woods generally have the hottest and longest burn times and are typically cleaner to handle.

Q: Where can I find the ceiling bricks for my insert?

A: The ceiling baffles come pre-installed in the insert above the secondary air tubes. If they were not included with your insert when purchased, we suggest contacting the place of purchase for replacement.

Q: Can you install tv above it?

A: To install a TV above a fireplace, you must ensure clearances to combustibles are maintained. Elevated temperatures on the wall or in the air above a fireplace can cause melting, discoloration, or damage to a TV or other electronic components.

Q: What is the position of the handle above the stove? I don’t seem to have enough air flow to support a flame.

A: Great questions. If you are looking at the front of the stove, the handle is installed on the right hand side of the stove. The installation manual is located here: https://hvacdirect.com/hvac/pdf/napoleon-S20i-Installation-Operation-Manual.pdf and page 35 includes a troubleshooting list. For more information on technical questions and concerns, we recommend that you reach out to the manufacturer, here at: https://www.napoleon.com/en/us/company/contact-us and they would be happy to assist you. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Q: Does the blower need to be plugged in?

A: This blower is thermally activated so it does not require electrical power.
