What Is A Popular Gas Fireplace To Install In My Home?

The Buck Stove ZCBBXL ventless gas fireplaces offer installation flexibility, affordability, and most importantly, a great looking fire. Available in 36” and 42” sizes which fit larger and smaller rooms alike. Check out below why you should consider the Buck ZCBBXL fireplace for your next project.

Installation Flexibility

The Buck Stove ZCBBXL fireplace can be installed into a wood framed cavity in the wall or into a pre-made wood mantel cabinet from Buck Stove. Being ventless means the fireplace burns so efficiently that no chimney pipe for exhaust is required. The fireplace is fastened to the surrounding wood studs with included mounting brackets. A gas line can be brought in from either the right or left size. To operate the included blower, a 120V/15A electrical line is needed to connect to the fireplace’s included electrical box which can also be located on either side of the fireplace. Then all that is left is closing the space between the framing and the firebox with your choice of tile, marble, stone, granite, or similar type of non-combustible material which can also be accomplished with a pre-made wooden fireplace mantel kit.

Included Items

No need to purchase “upgrades” with this fireplace. Everything you or your client will need is included with the fireplace. The included burner kit is pre-installed into the fireplace. Only the 8 piece log set, and embers are needed to be put in place to operate the fireplace. The fireplace includes a battery-operated remote control to turn the fireplace on and off. A fine mesh operable screen door allows a clean view of the fire while preventing unwanted items from touching the fire. The included interior brick liner gives the impression the fireplace has been built of brick and mortar without the cost that goes along with such an installation. The included blower will circulate the heat around the fireplace making it even more efficient.

Performance

At 40,000 BTUs, the fireplace will produce a realistic flame while keeping your home at a comfortable temperature. The fireplace operates at 99.9% efficiency! The fireplace turns the fuel it uses into heat, a little bit of humidity, and carbon dioxide (the same gas humans exhale). No other heating appliance on the market compares to the efficiency of a ventless gas fireplace. With rising fuel costs, adding a fireplace to heat the area you spend the most time in will save you money.

Affordability

Adding a brick masonry fireplace will typically add somewhere in the neighborhood to $20,000 to your project not including a gas burner kit, remote, blower, and burns very inefficiently. This often prices a fireplace out of a project’s budget. At well under $3,000 the Buck ZCBBXL fireplaces are much more affordable. If you choose a wooden mantel cabinet to finish the project, plan on an additional $1,500 to your budget. A similar amount if you plan on using framing, drywall, and tile. The national average for an installation of this type of fireplace with running an average amount of gas line, electrical, set up, and clean-up is right around $1,000.

Summary

Whether you are building a new home, remodeling, or just looking to add a fireplace to your existing home, the Buck Stove ZCBBXL fireplace is an excellent option.
