What are the viewing area dimensions?

This is a great question. View from glass door: 14.5"W x 8.5"L and the View from bay windows: 2 1/4"W x 8.5"L. Is the stove insert constructed of Steel plate and cast iron?

What is the highest temperature the stove will get to?

The firebox temperature is determined many factors such as the type of wood, amount of wood, etc.... Generally, you can expect the firebox to be between 600-1000 degrees when in use.
