The Model 34 Manhattan is Buck Stove's most popular vent-free fireplace. The Model 34 Manhattan can be installed into a mantel cabinet or in a wood framed cavity in new construction or a rennovation. At 33,000 BTUs and burning 99.9% efficient it makes for a great zone heater that will supplement your heating system. Standard features include an 85 CFM factory installed variable speed blower and a reliable standing pilot ignition system that can work with a remote control or thermostat.

Also known as Zero Clearance or Prefabricated Fireplaces, these models are designed to be installed directly into a wood-framed cavity, making them ideal for new construction and remodeling projects. Built In Fireplaces cannot be installed into an existing fireplace fireplace opening. Proper clearances must be observed for proper installation - please consult the Installation Manual for details.Â
