The Buck Stove Model 1127 Vent Free Gas stove with pedestal provides up to 25,000 BTU's while burning 99.9% efficient. The Model 1127 features an 65 CFM factory installed variable speed blower system. This heater has a thermostat sensing bulb and will modulate the flame on or off based on the setting of the control dial.

The home heating stove provides the heat you need to keep your family warm a cozy on a cold day. With an amazing 99.9% heating efficiency you will save money and their is no need to worry about running venting.

Can this stove be used as an outdoor heating option on a screened in porch?

Model 1127FAP12, if I buy it with the pedestal can I later get a mantel to mount it in, removing the pedestal?

High BTU is 25000. What is the low BTU? Can it be used in a tiny house?
This appliance may be installed in an aftermarket, permanently located, manufactured (mobile) home, where not prohibited by local code; depending on your tiny home, this unit may not be the right choice. What total square footage will this unit heat?
This can be a difficult question to answer as there are many factors that can play into how much it can heat such as climate/location, insulation level of the home, how tall the ceilings are, etc... Does this model come in a bigger btu then 25,000?
Yes, Buck Stove offers a few higher BTU models similar to the Model 1127. The Buck Stove Hepplewhite vent free gas stove offers 32,000 btus and can be found here. Is this heater propane fueled?

With gas logs..when the setting is not changed..is the height of the flame constant?
Yes, the height of the flame should remain fairly consistent, with only some flames being larger or smaller. If you have any further questions, please call us and we will be happy to assist you.
Can you use it indoors when fueled by propane?
Yes, you can use this stove model indoors when fueled by propane. However, you MUST follow the instructions on how this unit is installed and how the propane gas is to be connected. Can this be wall mounted without the pedestal?
Great question, yes, this unit can be installed in three different ways, wall mount / freestanding heater (with pedestal) / freestanding (with optional wooden mantel). Can it be vented?

Does it come with a remote control?
This unit does not come with a remote control. Model 1127-FAP12 has a pilot light ignition which means that you have to manually light it. Pgs. 23 & 24 of the installation manual has more information on lighting the pilot and how to turn the unit on and off. Is it cool to the touch?
Per the manual found on page 28, "Children and adults should be alerted to hazards of high surface temperature and should stay away to avoid burns or clothing ignition. Young children should be carefully supervised when they are in the same room with appliance. Do not place clothing or other flammable materials on or near appliance."
