Description

The newest addition to the Breckwell line is the Traverse SP2047 pellet stove. This model is 2020 Compliant with a patented combustion. There is no electricity needed for this all-black, gravity fed pellet stove. The Traverse model can hook up to an existing wood stove chimney and heats up to 2,000 square feet. The 47 lb. hopper provides many hours of heat while the ash pan allows for easy clean-up. The Traverse is the latest and greatest in pellet stove technology.

Can it be hooked up to ductwork?

No, you are not able to connect this stove to ductwork. If you have any further questions, please call us and we will be happy to assist you.

Why such a low efficiency output of 75%? Is gravity fed the best way to feed my stove?

The efficiency rating of 75% is within the range of certification by the EPA (70%-83% for EPA certification). A gravity fed stove eliminates the need for electricity making it ideal in certain situations and geographical locations. If it’s non electrical how does it turn on?

It doesn't turn "on." Instead of electricity feeding more pellets into the stove, this unit comes with the function of gravity fed pellets into the stove.

Breckwell traverse. The center of my 6 inch chimney flue is 46 inches from the floor .do you think this will work ?

Great question. If the pipe is 46" from the floor, then it should work since the stove itself is 42.4" tall.
